Slaughter and the DogsTM are a 4-piece English/Franco Punk Rock band, originally established in 1975, in Manchester, United Kingdom, and now have their headquarters in Lyon, France. The new, energetic lineup consists of original lead singer and creator, Wayne Barrett. Wayne said in an interview, “if you took the DNA from Johnny Ramone and mixed it with Slash’s DNA, the result would be our guitarist Martin P.!” Also, the longest serving bass player in Slaughter and the DogsTM, J.P.Thollet, is back after his re-education with a wrist problem. And finally, one of the most worked as well as hardworking musicians in all of Europe, D.D. Deleaz on drums! They met through mutual friends and at punk rock gigs.

Their musical influences range from of course Punk Rock, but also Bovver Glam, Pub Rock, Garage Rock, such as the MC5, the New York Dolls, Slade, Thin Lizzy, The Velvet Underground, and of course, David Bowie. Their unique brand of entertainment fuses loud, energetic Punk Rock and classic Punk singalong songs, that will make you want to grab a beer at the show, put a shoulder around your mate, and sing along, fists in the air!
Hailed as one of the top 10 Best Debut Punk albums by publications such as Vive le Rock, Louder Than War, and Mojo, amongst dozens of other musical publications, Slaughter and the DogsTM have performed close to 1000 shows, and have headlined festivals such as Rebellion Festival in Blackpool, United Kingdom multiple times, CBGB’s in New York, The Whisky A-Go-Go in Los Angeles, Northwest Calling, Scotland Calling, and even Eikoku-Ongaku Vinyl Japan 30th Anniversary Gig.

“Playing live, Slaughter and the DogsTM not only continue to put on one of the best live shows EVER, but they also leave you wanting MORE!” (Rebellion Festival fanzine 2017.)
Currently, the band has released its last album, “il Tradimento Silenzioso” (The Silent Betrayal,) in 2022 generating a lot of excitement with its fierce, energetic, punk musical style on Contra Records in Europe and Spaghetty Town Records in the United States. They are currently working on new material. Having just come off their first Swedish Tour, the band is headlining Monorama Vol.2 Festival in Italy in June, headlining the Los Angeles ‘CY Fest’ in September 2023 and headlining Nothing Less Booking’s event at The Regent in Los Angeles in September with the Dead Boys and the Riffs, as well as an eight-day West Coast tour in September! November 2023, we are beyond pleased to announce 2 EXCLUSIVE shows in Dublin and Belfast!

This will be the very first time Slaughter and the DogsTM have ever played in Ireland.
